Upon arrival we were met cordially by the front desk officer who efficiently signed us in. However we had to wait for the room to be readied as there seems to be a glitch on the communication between them and Agoda. While we were waiting, we were shown around the hotel by the same front desk officer who received us which me and my wife truly appreciated. We learned that the floor boards and panels are reclaimed wood from old houses in Manila which gave the place a pleasantly reminiscent feel with a modern twist.

Before I left the room on the afternoon of the first day as to not bother my wife who was deep in her studies, I took a quick shower but to my surprise the shower only had cold and even colder water. It was a warm day so I had let this go for now and informed another of the front desk staff of the situation before I left.

My wife had to be somewhere very early in the morning so we asked if they could arrange to have her breakfast packed for her, which they promptly delivered our room at 5:30 in the morning of the next day. I on the other hand had the opportunity to enjoy eating at the 6th floor deck for that day, which served breakfast not as a buffet but a number of dishes from the menu.

There seems to be a perennial problem with the hot water system of the hotel as I was told by my wife that she took a not so warm shower that morning even with the handle fully set to one side which I too experienced again on that same morning. Calling the staff’s attention for the 4th time on this issue after a very long day for me and my wife, I was finally able to get a hot shower around midnight which coincidently was the Lunar New Year.

The 3rd day came without a hitch, checkout was fast and efficient by the same person who checked us in, and she even gave us a bag of cookies as a farewell gift.

In all, I highly recommend this hotel as the degree of service and comfort outweigh the inconveniences we’ve encountered during our stay

PROS:
- Staff were cordial, professional, and very efficient
- There’s a pleasant feeling of comfort as the place doesn’t feel overwhelming
- Ample basement parking, although still not complete. I appreciate that it’s well guarded as the area is notorious for car break-ins and thefts. So I recommend not parking on the street overnight.
- Location is great, this area is well known to have a wide variety of good restaurants

CONS:
- Recurrent problem with the hot water
- We had to make do with 2 twin beds joined together as it seems Agoda didn’t convey our request for 1 big bed

Room Tip: There's a building being constructed a ways off the north side so it could get a little noisy during the day

What a great find indeed! I like staying at boutique hotels and finding one in Quezon City and a new one at that made my short stay in Manila much nicer. The hotel interior itself is elegant and the bedrooms are tastefully designed. The beddings are plush and the bed is very comfortable!

The toilet has glass walls so that whilst enjoying a bath or a shower you can view your television through the glass :-) I thought that was fun!

Staff were very friendly and ever so helpful.

Also enjoyed breakfast at the roof top garden (that has a swimming pool!) Breakfast is great quality with having to choose from the buffet and you can request for cooked breakfast too!

I highly recommend this place as you get much better quality for almost or nearly the price of bigger hotels in the area.

We visited in the "soft opening" phase, so not all amenities were available, and the price was reduced accordingly. Very happy with 5* style room. Great service from friendly staff. Relatively small and cosy hotel, with luxury ambience. Great location for bars and restaurants along Tomas Morato and Timog. 2 mins walk from Quezon Ave for local transport. Taxi 70 peso to SM North mall for transport terminal and light rail. Highly recommended at the "soft opening" rate, although they had not set the final price for full opening at time of writing.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor
