Icon is just along the highway and is walking distance to SM North EDSA and the Trinoma Malls. If you are just looking for a place to stay, this one is accessible as it is also near the MRT station. Since it is along the highway, buses zoom past it, so if you have children with you, be sure to hold on to them when you step out of the hotel door. It is noisy though, and it is not a place where you can find relaxation and serenity. The dining area at the ground floor is too open for me, and I don't really feel secure sitting in the lobby. The hotel is not quite that neat and the bed arrangement in the room is awkward as there is small space to walk around the bed, which is also not advisable in case of emergency.

Room Tip: Get the room at the higher floors and the one facing the south side.

Giving the benefit of the doubt, I gave this property a second chance. They have added awkwardly table that literally looks and sized like an ironing board for people to sit on for breakfast!!! Breakfast lacking in variety. If you'd stay here on extended period of time, you could be blindfolded and know what and where exactly each food item is located. There are cereals on the menu. It took 20mins for the staff to refill the milk (and I even asked TWICE) for a decent bowl of milk for my cereal. I was assigned to a room with a PILLAR in middle of the room. What was THAT?? The window of my room was facing a wall of the next building. The bathroom lighting did not work. I was showering in the dark!! Didn't even bother to ask for the maintenance to fix it, as from my previous experience staying here... everything is SLOW!!! If you're a light sleeper the noise from the aircond unit will bother you all night.

Room Tip: Ask for room on higher floor with WINDOW so you can get natural light. There are rooms with NO WINDOW

The Hotel is not that big but the location is perfectly situated between two big malls in Quezon City i.e. SM North
EDSA and Trinoma.

If you are a returning OFW and needs to pay your OEC, there is a POEA branch that is just walking distance from the hotel.

Icon is a three star hotel but is equipped with wonderful staff and delicious breakfast buffet.

Hotel Icon Noth Edsa is nicely located. Just walk via the overpass to SM North Edsa or Trinoma. Very accessible. Nice rooms. Dining hall needs some improvement. Front desk staff during my check needs more training in dealing with guests.

Room Tip: Corner suites for more view

A friend and I had an overnight staycation at this hotel. The room was good, it was pretty, and I love the rainforest shower detail. It was good value for money especially since they have free breakfast. However they don't have enough space to accommodate their breakfast crowd. So this one they should improve.
