I have visited Fatz before, and I have never been disappointed. The meals are a fair size, the prices reasonable, and the quality of the food is very good. If you are looking for casual dining or a meal for business, you can't go wrong with this.

Fatz is my "go to" place. We bring visitors there knowing we'll not be disappointed. Good food, fair prices. It's my favorite.

From the title one can tell that Fatz is no longer our favorite place. For years they had a great menu but this spring (2017) they changed a lot of items and even though we have returned on a monthly basis for the past 6 months, we are finished with eating here. They still serve shrimp and grits but it is nothing like the recipe they had for years. They still serve fish and chips but the cole slaw recipe has changed greatly and they now serve pickled vegetables instead of regular ones. I don't know who came up with changing the menu but this was one time when they should have left things as they were!! Good By, Fatz!

Nice restaurant for the most part. Went there with friends and we had mixed opinions. The steak was tasty but tough. Baked potato was cold and hard, and the chicken fingers were over-cooked. Being said, the shrimp and grits, the bar-b-cue, and fish were very good. Service was slow but the waitress was friendly and helpful.

We decided to try something new as one person in our party suggested Fatz. They ordered the loaded fries, which came out right away. Those who ate them said they were pretty good. The main courses took a really long time, and it didn't look busy at all. Maybe they were shorthanded, I'm not sure. I had a calabash shrimp. It was nothing special as far as flavor (the country fried shrimp at Cracker Barrel has more flavor), and the shrimp was a little tough/ overcooked. The other people ordered pork chops, ribs and calabash chicken and were equally unimpressed. Nothing was *bad*, it just wasn't that good.
