I did not stay in this hotel, just attended a conference here. The panel rooms were small and either very cold or very hot. The worst part was that the catering service is inept. For a luncheon scheduled to begin at 11:45, the food was not put onto the buffet line until after noon. This meant that the program was cut short and we all had to eat in a hurry to get to the 1:00 panel. The same thing happened at the luncheon on the last day. It was scheduled from noon to 2:00, with the business meeting and program taking an hour at least. The food was not put out until 12:40. Many people, including me, had to leave at 2:00 and so missed the program entirely. The first luncheon was held in a panel room and so the number of people who could attend was limited. The second was held in a large open area that echoed, making it difficult to hear the speakers.
The floors are very uneven Mexican tile so be careful where you step. They also never look clean.
A good point, they have a Happy Hour from 5-7 pm, though the bar does not open until 5:30 or so. The drinks are free for hotel guests.
Be aware that this chain is for Christians only as they have a large stone monument to the Protestant version of the Ten Commandments prominently displayed.More
