After a long convention day we want a remarkable drink and snack. This place delivers! Our knowledgeable bartender Blake helped guide us to a “green river”a basil vodka delicacy and a unique old fashioned. They were just perfect! Then the truffle fries burger and fried pickles came. Just delectable! I️ could live on those fries if my cardiologist approves...
This place gets busy so go off hours if possible. We waltzed in at 330-4 with lots of seating. It was a perfect experience.

This is a super hip modern meal spot in downtown Austin. We visited for lunch, and our meals were - 1) fried chicken sandwich; 2) grilled flank steak; and 3) bianco pizza with multiple cheeses and arugula. Every entrée was delicious. The only complaint would be very slow service to start after we were seated. But once we did have a server, he was attentive and got our orders in and us out the door as we had an appointment to make. This is a popular place and had a booming lunch business. It's clearly popular with locals and visitors, but they did have a table for us with no wait. Great spot downtown with delicious food!

Recently in Austin, I attended a business dinner for a group of about 20. We were seated on the second floor balcony overlooking downtown Austin. Many times, dinners with this large of a group don't go well; cold food, slow service, etc. Second Bar and Kitchen was the exception. Service was great for our large group and the food was excellent.

This place has a great vibe and reasonable prices. Make sure to try the gnocchi, one of the best I️ have ever had.

This place is nestled in Hotel Archer in Austin at The Domain. It is a good gathering place with friends or business partners for appetizers, drinks and/or a meal. We enjoyed appetizers, drinks, and the ambiance in the restaurant/bar. We had attentive wait staff and the Chicken Fried Olives were something we had to order just to say we had tried them! We tried several other items and all were good.
I stayed at the hotel for two days of meetings. All of the food we enjoyed during our stay was very good. The novelty of being able to say we ate Chicken Fried Olives was worth the entire visit!
