The hotel had had a flood and our suite was not available but they gave us two smaller suites .i was delighted that they had not decided to turn us away as we had been travelling for 28 hours .reception staff were always friendl. And helpful . There is a mini store open 24 hours a day excellent for the jet lagged .the suites were clean and well equipped .breakfast is open at 6.30monday to friday and was always fully ready .there was nothing i could have wanted not availalbe from oatmeal to eggs and yoghurts .one could take breakfast back to ones room if one wished .i have stayed in far more expensive suites and this was just as good perhaps friendlier staff ,the laundry room was always clean . I will look for other staybridge suites when next travelling to the states

Room Tip: Only one lift if wanting to use stairs a lower floor might be better

Stayed at Staybridge-Austin Sun, May 13, 2018 as a 15K point reward night. The four story hotel is on a busy road with a moderately steep entrance/access road. Location is good with a large shopping area and lots of restaurants a mile or so away. We arrived at 4pm and found parking to be a bit challenging even at that time. Overnight the lot became totally full. Exterior is well maintained and we felt safe.

The lobby is medium size with nice flooring. A single clerk was fast, friendly and gave restaurant referrals. A single clean elevator was a bit away from the front desk but brought us upstairs to our 2 double suite in the typical Staybridge design. Signage, both internal and external, was good.

The room's entry door had a standard badge reader with no squeaks or hardware issues. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable with separate living/bed rooms and a full kitchen. Furniture was not shabby. Everything appeared to be well maintained.

Only a single outlet was on lamp between beds with another on an adjacent wall. WIFI via IHG connect was stable. HVAC is an in-room unit with digital control on wall. Beds were very comfortable with clean sheets and four pillows. Sink is just outside the shower area and both rooms are relatively small. Sink and toilet both worked well as designed. Shower had average water pressure and plenty of clean towels. Room was quiet.

Complimentary breakfast was available with typical hotel food, but all we had was coffee.

We stopped here after our Hill Country road trip and before we head back to Houston. This hotel concept probably caters to those who stays for a couple of weeks each time. It has lots of conveniences without extra charge: microwave, plates, silverware, laundry baskets you can do laundry yourself in the gym area. A whole food is minutes away with added food options. A relatively up scale mall also in very close vicinity. Hotel is unpretentious, meet all the needs a travellr could hope for. For us it is simply a stopping point. We needed things quickly and the surrounding stores and hotel itself offered just that.

This hotel was really good for the price. It is in a good location near the mall. The hotel area is also quiet. Our room was clean and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just ok and a bit disappointing, I wish they can improve the quality and have more options.

This was my first stay at the Staybridge Suites Austin Arboretum, and it was relatively positive. This property was close to a number of dining venues. In addition, there is a reception each evening where food and drink are provided. Each morning, commencing at 6:30 AM, breakfast is served which caters to diverse tastes. The rooms are large and are equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and assorted supplies. I would be inclined to stay here again.
