Great stuff going on all over the place. Street acts, vendors, etc. Lots of choices for food and lots of one-of-a-kind shops. Real Austin feel.

Staying at the nearby hotel we experienced the SoCo district. Very interesting! Lots of food trucks and restaurants to choose from. Also various shops some were rather unique.
Parking is a little different with back in diagonal parking.
South Congress Ave is an easy way to get downtown rather the fighting the traffic on I35.

There’s a bit of goodness for everyone. Food trucks galore with lots of yummy food! Family friendly and dog friendly too. It can get crowed and quite busy. With a little patience it can be just what you needed to finish a day out in about the town. A must stop on anyone’s list visiting or local.

This is the place that I take everyone that visits me here in Austin! I truly love this place because of the unique stores and the photo ops that you can have here on this street... There is no place like it and it is a lot of fun and you don't have to spend any money if you don't want

this has such a cool vibe. Only a small area along one road, but plenty of restaurants and shops-dont miss Allens boot shop- and easy to walk around. So much more authentic and pleasant than the larger San Francisco.
