This coffee shop was my favorite in all of Austin, and my friend and I visited quite a few! The atmosphere and decor absolutely makes this place. It is homey and elegant, and so very calming and relaxing. The breakfast burrito was HUGE and delicious, and had I not let me Earl Grey tea steep too long, it would have ben perfect! You MUST go here!

We were excited to try Cenote for our first morning in Austin. It was highly recommended by the concierge at the Fairmont. Short walk from the hotel to a really nice location with great shaded outdoor seating. Service was indifferent, at best. The person taking our order seemed frustrated by our questions about a couple menu items - like she wanted us to just order and move on. I had the migas, which is one of my favorite breakfast items. Sadly, it was very bland and the tortilla chips completely took over the dish/flavors. I think the tortilla strips are made in house - they tasted overcooked, a really harsh flavor. Just a bad dish altogether. My wife had the breakfast tacos and they were just OK. We weren't fans of the 50/50 tortillas. The highlight of our visit was the coffee drinks. Service at the counter was much better and the drinks were delicious. Overall, just a disappointing experience. We had much better breakfast experiences during our stay.

Came here for brunch and got the breakfast plate and my wife got the chorizo and egg burrito. They both were so delicious. Great and friendly staff. The environment is very chill and relaxing. Great atmosphere with plenty of seating inside or outside. Inside also has couches to enjoy a cup of coffee and talk with friends. Outside has umbrellas covering the tables for a nice shade on a hot day.

Breakfast was very delicious. I enjoyed the Migas but would have preferred a bit less tortilla strips. Others in my party had the breakfast burritos, avocado toast, the OMG breakfast. Also, the iced tea was great!

Cenote is in a cute bungalow conversion, painted in bright turquoise on the outside. It has an eclectic vibe. While visiting Austin, we picked it because in a sea of barbecue restaurants nearby, it was nice to find somewhere with a lot of fresh vegetables/greens.

Three of us ordered the 1/2 salad 1/2 sandwich combo along with sweet potato fries, a coffee, a latte and an ice tea. You order at the counter and then find a seat -- a little tough on a busy Sunday, but there is outdoor seating as well. The portions are plenty and the food was fresh. They do bring you your food and bus the tables. Parking is on the street.
