The first thing that hits you is the smell of smoke--it is afterall a smokehouse with good barbecue and a large menu of offerings. Unfortunately, in addition to the "doggie bag" you will need when you leave because the portions are huge--you will need to air out all your clothes, because that smoke really lingers for a day or two. That should not diminish your desire to visit this restaurant. Big bar, with lots of choices and live entertainment on some nights. There are a variety of menu choices and you can create a twofer--where you can get two choices of meat--because you simply cannot choose. A host of sauces on the sauce bar let you pick you what you like, and so many sides. Good food, nice service. The brisket was very dry, but the pork was to die for! Others at the table got the ribs--which got a thumbs up. Best fried green tomatoes I think I have ever eaten.

While visiting Abingdon, my husband and I ate dinner here twice. Service and food were excellent on both occasions. If you like brisket, turkey and other delicious smoked meats, as well traditional sides like collards, mac n'cheese, and sweet potatoes, you can't go wrong here. For our second meal, we got dinner salads with the smoked turkey, also perfect. Setting is an old hardware store, complete with tin ceiling. Great experience overall!

The food and atmosphere is very smokey. It is a neat building as it was a hardware store at one time. I ordered a salad and it was NOT good. Others in my party ordered barbeque and it was pretty good. The portions are scant.

Our usually place to eat at in Abington was closed so we decided to try Bone Fire. The food was good and for a reasonable price. The service was slow the day we were there. Love the old look of the restaurant.
