A dimly lit Italian restaurant that has been serving Old Town Alexandria for 39 years, Landini Brothers Restaurant has an extensive menu, specializing on Tuscan fare. Just when I thought I had figured out what I wanted from the menu, the waiter starting reciting a list of off menu specials that seemed longer than the actual menu. On his recommendation I tried the braised beef short rib on top of creamy risotto. It was tender and flavorful and a well appreciated tip. Others tried the 14 oz. bone in Veal Steak and had trouble finishing it – very rich and tender. Ceasar salads were fresh with crisp romaine lettuce. Good, yet affordable wines available. Expensive wines are too! This is a good choice if you want to have a large group – The place is quiet and they will put you in a private room where you can enjoy each other and enjoy a nice meal in an old Town Alexandria building.
