Enjoyed our time at the Hyatt in Arlington. Stayed two nights. Room was very clean and quite comfortable. Our second floor room featured two queen beds, a good size sofa, and a flat screen TV. There was also a microwave and a small fridge, though we didn't use them. The hotel was about two blocks from a Dunkin Donuts and the local Metro stop. The trip from Arlington to the National Mall was just about 15 minutes. The drive to Arlington National Cemetery was also quick and easy.
Nice perk: Complimentary breakfast buffet included eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Also featured cold cereal and fruit, plus a nice mix of milk and juices.
Pro tip: Parking deck across the street, behind Five Guys is about half the cost of the valet parking offered by the Hyatt.
Biggest gripe: Housekeeping came knocking on our door on checkout day before 8am, asking if we were checking out. They then returned about 9:30 as we were packing our suitcases. Checkout wasn't supposed to be until noon, I believe ?More
