Went in family the 1/1/18.
Even though it was not full service was cold and not efficient.
Ordered octopuss and filet mignon. Food was heavy and greasy - size of portion of octopuss small.
And everybody ended up sick with nausea yesterday night and today...

Our hotel advised us to try this restaurant which, I must admit, is looking very nice.
When we arrived on Friday night, around 18:00, the terrace was crowded and filled with the local yuppies and some tourists..we managed after few minutes gesticulating on our chairs to attract the attention of the busy staff, and we could try the local capirinha..we would have stayed for dinner if the music had not been so loud, and if the waiters has shown some interest to do business with us..
The next days, the situation from outside looked even worse, therefore we never had more than a drink in this place.

Went there for "almoço" with my aunt and mum. They had feijoada buffet, and a lot good things to chose from, but none of the meats had English names, only Portuguese names so it was difficult to know which was what. All in all good enough for a simple meal for 49 Brl and all you can eat including dessert. Maybe we'll come back because of the closeness to the hotel.

Great scene, sundown esp., but food is not worth problems of no change if paying cash to avoid the foreign exchange fee, no English speaker, go next store to the tapas bar and restaurant, view is just as good and they do not have a 2 tourist buses unload on their porch then to the back for dinner at sundown.

Straight from entering the premises, we had the distinct feeling that we weren't welcome at Pereira's. Of the three waiters who served our Table, not one showed a friendly or at least professional attitude, although the places was almost empty; Stress was therefore not an obvious issue. We both had the Filet Mignon which was cooked perfectly, whereas the vegetables and side dishes we're not really up to a higher level.
When it came to providing the necessary change for the bill, it took a suspiciously long time. Surprisingly, we didn't add anything to the already added 10% Service charge, resulting in even more miserable faces....Not recommended!
