I wish I could give a 5 star rating. But I was robbed of my iPhone. “In a safe area in a safe restaurant ” 1 Star!

i am really sorry about the loss of your phone... This said, i have to say that i never saw such unfair comment. Not one word about the tour itself and the quality of our guide.
Let me recall what happened. In a restaurant, in one of the most touristic area of Salvador, near the church of Bonfim, a man arrived on his motorbike, took a weapon out, and robbed a few persons from their cellular phone. He then went away on his bike. It was very fast, and nothing that could be done about it... You even tried to argue with the man, which is a terribly dangerous thing to do here...
The way you comment about this, it is like if it was our fault, you are making us responsible for the thief...
Fortunately, this kind of thing is very rare here, and in fact never happened before with our clients. We are always careful, but this kind of thing can happen everywhere in any big city in the world... (like Paris for example!)
As i told you on the day of the tour, I am very glad that nothing worse happened !
Don't let this bad experience hide the richness of our fantastic and beautiful city of Salvador da Bahia !

We had an amazing with our tour guide for the day Joel Navarro, you can really see how passionate he is about his job. He explained many historical facts about Salvador and Bahia and also about Brazilian culture. Nicolas was very extremely kind and professional as well, you can really see they love what they are doing. Highly recommended for your stay in Salvador.

Nicholas was incredibly accommodating!. He picked us up from the airport in a very large van, which had a private driver. This meant that we didn’t have to spend time obtaining transportation into the main part of the city. We strolled through the cobblestone streets after we had a delicious buffet lunch at an Afro-Brazilian restaurant filled with local dishes. We stopped to see churches, a square where Michael Jackson filmed a music video, visited some beaches, a parade float and the spot where the man who wrote ‘The Girl from Ipanema” lived. Although we could only spend less than a day in Salvador, Nicholas, did a fantastic job of showing us the wonders of Salvador in an unhurried manner. It was a very full tour and he was even kind enough to drop us off at the airport! He was very informative and was multi-lingual speaking English, French and Portuguese and German. We would highly recommend him for a tour of Salvador.

This was a very complete tour of Salvador. We had a very knowledgeable guide. We covered a lot in one day, not only the historical side of Salvador, but also the lower city, and the coast, etc. The guide was a wealth of information and provided us with a well-rounded view of the history of Salvador. We visited a few artists' studios and drove all over town. I strongly recommend this agency.
