The Roost is a Bed and Breakfast in a very nice neighbor hood in Appleton. The property is a large house with an assortment of bedrooms with most comfortable beds and gas fireplaces in all that we saw. Breakfast was hand made and served by the owner. We chose to eat in the dining room but could have been served in our room. She is a good breakfast cook and more I'm sure. She is also the official greeter and source of information and keeps the candy jar full of my favorite mini Kit-Kats outside of our room.

We stayed here and drove to Green Bay for a Thursday night football game. Roost Location is very convenient for this type of trip.

Room tip: All rooms are good!

What a fabulous gem that you would never expect to find. A beautiful home that makes you feel at home. Very clean and an excellent hostess. Fresh baked warm cookies at check in and warm cookies to take with when we left. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious served in front of the fire place. This was a great romantic getaway.

Why stay anywhere else, when you can feel right at home in this charming bed and breakfast. It's the little details that mean so much. Fresh baked cookies, wine delivered to your room, and a scrumptious breakfast each morning. De Ann, the owner is a gem. She will make sure you are taken care of and that you feel right at home. We will definitely return!

We were in Appleton to see a show at the Performing Art Center for my birthday. The concert and the stay at The Roost were a surprise from my husband. :) We had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before and we loved it! The Roost is beautiful and we felt very good staying there. We were warmly welcomed, it was very quiet and so clean! We are looking forward to coming back and enjoying another stay with delicious cookies and breakfast!

We were in town for a wedding, and to visit the area. The Sage Room was beautiful, and the fresh cookies a perfect start! Sleep quality was great, but got outdone by the breakfast, and the warmth and care of the owner. We will be back!!
