If you are in Brasilia to see architecture (and you probably are, unless you have business with the government), then this is the place to stay. Designed by Oscar Niemeyer as part of the original conception of the city, and recently restored, it epitomizes the city of Brasilia.

Our stay here was pleasant enough, but the real reason we came was the Niemeyer architecture. We were in town to see his works, so it made sense to stay at a hotel that was drawn by him. It didn’t disappoint. We loved the underground foyer/reception that is accessed via a ramp, furnished with period pieces and nicely lit. The rooms were functional and ok, but nothing to write home about. The place has a 50s Niemeyer feel, we we were happy. Breakfast is excellent in the place that functions as the Oscar restaurant at night. Just don’t go there at night, as that DOES disappoint.

Room Tip: Stay over the weekend when prices are lower

Dear guest, I was enchanted with such delicacy and affection with which she described her experience at Brasilia Palace. I am glad to know that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the works of art, decoration, history and nature around the hotel. My gratitude for sending us your evaluation and sharing with the others some tips to better take advantage of the hosting. I'm sorry that I did not offer you a desirable experience at night. It will be a pleasure to have you with us again. Grata, Marianna Ramalho - Operational Manager.disappoint.

If you are just looking for any top end hotel you might wanna look further rather than stopping here. You can get more luxury for this money. But why should you?
In the end all those hotel are kind of the same aren't they? Not this one. If you have any sense for architecture, for perfection in design, then this is a place that will stick in your memory. Take ample time to wander through the corridors, the emptyness of the public spaces and the premises to observe the outside building in it's context. This hotel radiates a deep tranquility that influences your state of mind. Try it!

The Brasilia Palace Hotel is a famous location in Brazil's capital region and is frequented by many politicians, business people, and luxury travellers. It is beautifully designed and has wonderful grounds near the presidential palace and the water (a man-made lake). Good restaurant and good service.

The hotel building is a typical design by Oscar Niemeyer, which turns the stay into an interesting experience. The hotel itself is nice, big room, clean, services are adequate to the hotel category. The staff is impersonal, but friendly. The location is about 10 minutes by car from Congresso Nacional, at Paranoá Lake. It is really recomended to have a car during the stay, not only because of the hotel location but also because of the city. The breakfast is really nice, with many options of breads, cheese, cake, juices, coffee, capuccino, eggs, pastry and so on.
