The people serving us were very kind. A person saw that the table was wobbling so they took the time to try to fix it without us having to say anything.
My meal, as always in this restaurant, was amazing. The days they have buffets are the best because you can eat all you want and their variety is quite extensive.
The atmosphere is fun and you never get bored even if you're just staring at the walls. I always find something new up there.
The only thing you should not be expecting is cheap Mexican food like something from Taco Bell, so expect to get what you pay for.

First of all, let us not compare this restaurant with a real Mexican restaurant in Mexico, or with a Tex-Mex in the US. El Paso Texas is a great local restaurant of Tex-Mex inspiration, and that´s it. I am reviewing the original place, at 404 sul, although they have two other locations, in Asa Norte and in a shopping mall.

Decor is colourful, with dim lights and lots of stuff on the walls: Mexican hats, "Día de Muertos" skulls, plates and the archetypal Pancho Villa, Zapata and Frida Kahlo pictures. It has a proper, inviting atmosphere, unlike most restaurants in Brasilia´s Plano Piloto that consist in just a few tables and chairs lined in the public circulation area of the buildings.

I particularly like the fixed price, all-you-can-eat lunchtime buffet, at around R$ 46 from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Price gets a bit higher from Fridays to Sundays, and they usually don´t open on Mondays. They also serve a la carte dishes.

Last time I´ve visited there were no tacos or burritos in the buffet, but the pork ribs with barbecue sauce were delicious, as well as the other dishes.

Price for the buffet is very reasonable in my opinion (especially if compared with the a la carte menu), but drinks can cost an arm and a leg. In a regular restaurant, a small Coca Cola at R$ 5,50 is overpriced even for Brasília standards. Service is average, but if you go for the buffet, you won´t be needing this much.

This place has maintained its quality through the years, a rare thing in this city, and that´s why I keep coming back.

We all had the buffet which was great and good value offering a lot of fresh options. We washed it down with margaritas. The restaurant is very cool and has a lot of detail - very colourful.

The place, overdecoreted as most Mexican restaurants, and the music (not too loud) make the ambiance. The personnel (along with Tequilas and some other drinks) make you feel relaxed and get into the mood. Some of the waitressess are not that skilled, but everyone is nice and service is ok after all. Most of all, the food of the Buffet and the burgers are great. Beverages are a little too expensive, I think. All in all, a good place for one or two drinks and a very good one for eating (but not the ideal one to a person on a diet, though).

Seems like Mexico is fare away! Food is fat and adopted to Brasilia. To much fried food whichbis expensive. The price for the buffet is oj but the food is not always fresh. Watch and pick the nice stuff but the selection is small. Prefer to eat lical food!
