A lovely place, with the most magnificent view of Búzios. Strategically located; near center of town and, of course, of the best restaurants and entertainment places . Helpful and pleasant staff. Highly recommended.

I had 5 days here last week and it was absolutely awesome. Although the staff didn't speak very good English, they would go out of their way to help me and were extra friendly. Breakfast was amazing, huge variety and the pool and pool area is great. The location is perfect, as are the views. Couldn't speak more highly of this place and the staff, thanks a lot guys!

Amazing boutique hotel with a very homey feeling. The music background is excellent from calm slow soft bossanova to more lounge for afternoon swimming pool, you bump into a few celebrities (fashion world) like it's natural. The living room area is lovely as well as the outside and inside bars. I just love this place. The rooms are perfect for what you need on a beach vacation and you are 5 to 10 min walk from all the night action of Buzios yet, it is very quiet and private. Chalom and Lia the owners are simply delightful!! I can't wait to go back! As they say: Saudades!!

It is a quirky place. It is in need of a refit throughout. The seaview suites with balconies are rather dark. So is much of the interior.
The service is friendly and flexible but not very efficient. The owner is there some of the time. Does not really interact with the guests. The large reception room nicely laid out with period furniture is not really intended for the guests.
Breakfast can be taken on the deck with superb views but there is a bit of a competition for the few places there. I have eaten much better in Rio.
Sauna and gym equipment are rather elderly.
The cashier speaks no English and the owner who does is not around to help sort out billing issues. If you agree a dollar price beware. They will bill you in Rials. If you offer to pay in dollars as you thought you had agreed the front lady will apply an exchange rate that you would never want to use. Agree the price in Reals and nothing else.
It is a vey relaxing place to stay, but you pay a hefty premium for the view and location.

Got lucky finding this place without prior reservations. Boutique hotel with 19 rooms. Ours was on 2nd floor (top) with a balcony overlooking the terrace pool and the ocean.
Very clean and quiet with very friendly staff, Teado being our favorite. Breakfast was included in our $200/nt. rate. (A "garden view room" is $40 less.) Besides the buffet they will bring you made to order eggs.
Down a side staircase there is a private door leading to the main beach road that takes you to the beaches and town center. Buzios can be very windy but the pool area was protected which the other properties didn't have. The water was chilly though. One flaw was the thin walls.
We really enjoyed this this property and stayed an extra day

Room Tip: Top floor with small balconies overlooking pool and ocean
