I've been coming to restaurant São Paulo for the past four decades, have seen its heydays but unfortunately am witnessing now its decaying. It didn't have to be that way since it continues to occupy a very good location and still keeps a very experienced staff. Some of its fare, seafood dishes mainly, continues to be well prepared and served. Most of the items in the menu, however, are old news with updated prices. There is a good opportunity for menu redesigning and space renovation, a trend that many restaurants in Santos are following. I just hope that São Paulo becomes one of them soon.

.

The restaurant is all the time full of people. Outside they have a bench where you can wait and the line moving rely fast. The menu full of choices and better to take one dish for two persons, cuz the portions are HUGE for just one. Restaurant is clean, cozy, with good choice of food and beverages.

Very old and traditional restauran in the heart of Santos. The menu is large and has plenty of options that includes meat, fish, pasta, salads, etc. The Gnocchi is excellent!

brazil is the world's supplier of food comodities, and has a huge variety of fruits and vegetables. unfortunately, the cooking style is nothing special, and so is this restaurant. nice ingredients and dishes, but luck of character and exciting tastes. propably cause the cooks are allways under paid and low educated hard workers, no mattar how expensive are the prices. propably the old saying IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET MONKEYS, DON'T PAY PEANUTS is trues also for kitchen workers.
