Only stayed in the area for one night and craved a comfortable bed, a good breakfast and a clean hotel .... sadly all a dream. Once passed the grand, glittering entrance, the room was indeed big enough but the shower cubicle had so much mould and grime, the bin (when moved) covered a circle of dirt and the bed, once again, incredibly hard! Charged for a glass of cold milk for my British tea, rather un generous! The Wi Fi is only available, occasionally, in the lobby (as seen by the hoards of people busy tapping away on their devices!) and the breakfast choices poor (unless you're still loving the Chinese food after 3 weeks...).
Would we stay here again, No.

This hotel is nicely located near shops and easy access by taxi to all major places to visit. Staff is extremely friendly, but take your time to find the ones that speak good English. The bar is a bit small, but again staff is good. Breakfast is half western, half Chinese, if you only like western, it might be not as diverse as you may be used to. But no risk of leaving hungry. Rooms are what you expect and large, but some are just that extra meter larger and more convenient.

This is supposed to be the best hotel close to the Shaolin Temple etc. However, I give it only a 3.5 and knowing that things could be worst, I have 4 stars. I got sick with the food here and it took me weeks to recover. Please be careful especially with the meat and seafood. The hotel room itself was good.

Positives are nice rooms, attentive staff
Negatives no in room wifi, beds harder than the floor, TV with no English channels or even instructions in English how to work it, cold breakfast, air con which heats only! This hotel has the bling but not the customer comfort or convenience! Stay at the holiday inn express across the road, it's likely to be far better.

Great hotel in city of Luoyang. glad to have our English speaking guide with us, as very limited English. Staff extremely polite and accommodating. Very concerned with their guests welfare. Excellent breakfast buffet included in room rate,

Wi-Fi was a bit spotty but really didn't need it since we were there only 24 hours to visit Longmen Grottoes
