There's plenty of choice for an unbooked lunch at Cavtat. One of many restaurants on the waterfront alongside the moored superyachts, Bugenvila seemed more stylish than its immediate competitors and geared to an upmarket clientele. We both had the three-course set meal which offered interesting but limited options and did not include desert. The service was friendly and attentive but appropriately leisurely. We both enjoyed the courgette flower starter and the fresh sea bream main course although the expertly filletted fish was rather overwhelmed by the volume of vegetables which accompanied it. The middle course 'pistou' cold soup was disappointing but that's all a matter of taste.
