We stopped off here for a late lunch whilst touring the island on the only wet day of our holiday - so wanted somewhere to eat that wasn't far from our car! We therefore didn't do our research and ran in from the rain when we spotted a vacant table. I think we got away lightly, as we were very badly behaved and sat at a table for 4 when there were only 2 of us, judging from previous reviewers experiences! We also witnessed 4 people sit down at a table for 8 and be told they couldn't stay there which we could see upset them. We were initially served by a male waiter so didn't bear the brunt of the female waiter with attitude but saw her arguing with both staff and customers.
We ordered a tuna pizza to share, and the male waiter was actually helpful as we were debating whether to share the jumbo version and he said it would be too much for just the two of us. When we received our standard sized, it was indeed plenty and tasty.
We did have a brush with the waitress from hell when we asked for the bill. It was slapped on the table in a tolder as she walked past, and before we had had time to work out our cash, she grabbed it back! We had to call after her to advise we'd not yet settled. No apology or words spoken, just attitude. Perhaps they think she gives the place some character?!!
