The hotel has a real 4 star feel and is conveniently situated at the far end of the quayside. The room was clean, spacious and with wonderful views across the harbour to the town, the mountains behind and a distant view of Brac across the bay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although not on half=board, we ate several times at the hotel restaurant and were never disappointed. We especially liked the Peka - ordered 24 hours in advance!
We cannot fault any aspect of the hotel at all.

Room Tip: The ones at the front have fantastic views but on occasions there is late noise from the youthful cruise ships moored quite close by.

The Hotel Osejava is situated by the breakwater at the end of a busy, lively promenade. The hotel is beautiful, fresh and contemporary. There is a restaurant and cafe bar at the front of the hotel with good service and variety. There is a small pool at the back of the hotel. We were usually able to get a bed.

The rooms are spacious and bright with good views. Housekeeping were excellent. Personally I found the beds very hard and uncomfortable.

There is unfortunately a lot of noise at night. As long as you are aware and pack good ear plugs this shouldn't be a problem.

The service at the reception desk was exceptional particularly from a lady with blonde curly hair. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a lively holiday .

We had a week in the hotel osejava in late August. The hotel was lovely! We were given a warm welcome and were well looked after by the staff. The hotel looked as if it had been recently refurbished. All of the communal areas were lovely and clean and modern. The rooms were large, with AC, a fridge, plenty of storage and a large tv. The bathroom was large also with a big waterfall shower and a massive sink!
We had book a park view room with a balcony. This overlooked the pool area. There were seats and a table which was handy as the balcony caught the sun all day!
Other reviews have talked about noise and being woken up but we heard nothing from the club or revellers.
The pool area was very small but we spent most of our days out of the front of the hotel. We were able to swim in the marina. The sea was clear but very cold!!
There were plenty of bars, restaurants and shops close by.
The Osejava was a great place to spent a week!

Room Tip: Park view rooms are quieter than at the front of the hotel

Guests of the hotel Osejava

We arrived at the hotel at around 16.30, after 2 hours after landing in Split Airport. The road is quite difficult as it is on one band led one band in reverse and in resorts, where we get to let other tourists, sometimes cars are parked that make movement almost impossible. At the reception was a blonde lady, young and very kind to give us the card for our room in the shortest time. Our double room with sea view and balcony ... Here with balcony careful because it is a French-style balcony, where you have no table, no chairs to sit in the night and listen to the murmur of the city. It is like a window that can be opened to the outside world with a wire guard not to fall into the void. Otherwise room ok, ok bathroom, air conditioning, LED TV 81 cm, mini-fridge. We took the table half board and it seemed to us a second mistake after balcony because while breakfast (Swedish buffet) was ok, the dinner had three options that we must express vote the evening before, plus soup, cakes, salads. The food was well cooked, but we wanted more options. The double bed is kind springboard, if your spouse moves, you move too. The pool is small, nearby beach is as small and busy, instead of sand has stones with diameters from 1-2 mm to 1-2 cm and beach slippers if you have not special, you feel that it was more well if you had. Adriatic sea water here is clear and a beautiful blue green color, but it is pretty cool for August. Near the hotel, on the beach, is a bar decorated in a cave, very nice indeed, that closes at five o'clock in the morning when all customers leave to go to their places of accommodation, accompanied by cries of encouragement. On six o'clock in the morning, for the first time that day, bells ring at nearby churches. A new day begins.
Overall, the hotel Osejava is ok, Makarska Riviera is gorgeous and if you get here thinking you feel good, you succeed.

Room Tip: choose park view

Really beautiful hotel perfectly placed for the resort of Makarsaka. Very modern style inside and he decor was just lovely - right up my street as it reminded me of New England in the USA. The pool area is pretty small for the size of hotel and there is the laying down of towels early on in the morning. Buffet breakfast was very nice with a small amount of cooked item such as eggs. The resort of Makarska is right on your doorstep with plenty of fantastic bars and restaurants to choice from as this is a very resort area. The further end of the resort away from the hotel is very "in your face" and a little bit tacky but I suppose that means there is something for everyone. Also worth making the effort and taking the walk round the bay upto the statue of St Peter. Really not far or difficult and great views of the pay. Parking at the hotel is a bit limited but Reception will look after that for you. No tea/coffee making facilities and the fridge wasn;t very cold. There is a cafe bar associated with the hotel which is very nice but next door again is Cafe Citrus which is a bit cheaper and frequented by locals.
