Having taken the train ride round the island, this museum gave a looks inside the life of Tito and his family and what he achieved inhs life time. A good history lesson.

Here you can see pictures of Tito with famous people during his stay on Brioni Island. One of famous picture is Tito with Fiedel Castro.
In Museum is newly renovated toilette with a place where you can change diapers to your child.

Tito was a great leader and so shows this museum. Stuffy air in the animal section, but really nice to see the animals that lived on this island for a while - so sad to see the little giraffs that died of salmonela - poor beauties now in museum. On the first floor with pictures we were surprised that we did not hear the song little Pionirji used to sing to him - would be cool to hear it again.

Read a number of negative things about this museum, but have to say I found it fascinating. A great insight into the man and the period, it obviously helps if, like me, you are interested in this period of history. All I can say is, I liked it.

Don't waste more than 10 minutes looking at embalmed animals and pictures of the General Tito during his stay on the islands.
You'd rather see the nature of the island or the ancient roman villa ruins outdoors!!
