I stayed in a bungalow with private en-suite for 3 nights and then booked to come back for a further two after a rafting trip as I liked it here so much.
It's a little tricky to find when straight off the bus as it's not shown on the tourist map & not everyone I asked had heard of it. It's about a 15 minute walk, turn left out the bus station and at the end of the road turn right, then at the end of that road turn left over the bridge then it's about a 5 minute walk on the right. Follow the signs for Oia as that's down the same path.
I loved my first stay in bungalow 1, although the bed was a little hard. When I came back I was in number 4. The bed was much better and the room had more plug sockets and a nicer view. That's what's so lovely about this place, it has a couple if ponds and a bit of land at the back with a view of the mountains. It's fairly quiet as it's a little out the town, although there is music coming from somewhere, but an easy walk in to Pai where there are lots of shops, stalls, bars & restaurants.
The couple who run the place are lovely, they looked after my main bag while I went off for a few days. I felt completely safe leaving it with them.
