This was by far the best place we stayed in during our stay in Northern Thailand. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed in a few different rooms but our favorites were 15 and 16 which both overlooked the river. We got a very good rate as we were there during the low season in August. Also included in the price was a delicious breakfast. In addition to the breakfast we also tried other dishes at the restaurant, which is very beautifully situated right next to the river. Even though there aren’t a lot of vegetarian options on the menu, the staff was happy to cook vegetarian for my partner and I. Everything we ate there was wonderful, but remember to tell the chef if you don’t want your food too spicy! I particularly recommend the unusual sounding, but amazing, lychee green curry. Last but not least, we want to mention the staff, which was amazing. The waitresses, the chef, and the wonderful manageress Anchalee all went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable one. If we could give this hotel a higher mark, we would. We can’t wait to go there again.

Good value low season. The monsoon in pai is very manageable.
Beware of Mosquitos as malaria is reported in the region. Air conditioning or mosquito net a must and daytime protection as these predators hide under restaurant tables

we stayed in the Spa Villa No.7... having our own pool with jacuzzi was awesome :) The main receptionist Anchalee is the nicest lady in Pai :) Very helpful and sweet!! We love her :) Our room didnt have a view but the main pool area does and its lovely to swim there amidst the fields and mountains. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a little Gecko living with us :) Take bug spray to make sure you kill any hiding creatures! As the sun goes down they come out and they are not small :p We where safe in the room but all night we kept hearing an orchestra of strange noises...
I think this is the nicest place to stay in Pai... i had a look at the other resots in town which didnt look as nice....the ones out of time seemed beautiful too but about 10 mins away so not as comfortable!

Room Tip: Spa Villa!! a bit pricey for Thailand but well worth it and sooooo cheap compared to Europe so treat yourself :)

Our son lives in Pai and he recommended we stay at Pai River Corner when we came to visit. He made an excellent choice. We appreciated both the easy access to town and being able to look out at the green countryside while sitting by the lovely well maintained swimming pool. The accommodation is simple but attractive and very comfortable. We recommend Nature's Breakfast and the pancakes and fruit. Above all the staff at Pai River Corner were always friendly and really looked after their guests. It felt like they loved the small resort that they had created and we loved staying there.

Pai River Corner is an exceptional hotel for solo travellers, couples and families. we stayed here at the end of a family wedding week with 3 generations including adult chidren in their 20s, parents and grandparents and founf it an ideal location for all. The owners and staff treat you as family friends, and the swimming pool and garden are a terrific place to relax. It is situated right on the edge of the town and everything you need is in walking distance, but it is also a quiet haven on the river. We have stayed in good hotels all over the World in SE Asia, Mauritius, and Europe, and I think Pai River Corner is a real gem. In terms of price, there are lots of places in Pai that are cheap if you want but pai River Corner gave exceptional value for the same price as a Travel Lodge in England.
