We stayed at the premium lower ground villa. It was just simply awesome. The room is huge with comfortable 2 king size beds, a kitchenette, a walk-in wardrobe toilet facilities. The room and pool were spick and span. It was exactly as advertised. The selections of breakfast was also very good with fresh pastries baked on the spot, eggs station, pancake station and even indian tosei station. We enjoyed our one night stay and hope to repeat our stay here again. More

Unlike most of my travel, this is was for a business trip so price is not an issue on any point I will cite below.
We originally booked a room in Lexis Hotel but upon arriving we were informed that we were upgraded to a room at "Grand Lexis." The name suggests that this hotel should be better (it is). Our room was upgraded to a pool villa, a huge room with two huge bed, a living room, kitchen, and a private pool. The room looks old but very clean and cozy.
The restaurant below serves buffet breakfast with good options, but i stayed for 3weeks so I literally ran out of combinations of food to eat for breakfast. We also dine there for dinner a lot of times; the servings were very generous and taste good too.
They also have a fitness center with few cardio equipment and all-in-one machine but no dumbbell or barbell to do free weighted exercise.
I did not try their common pool but it looks nice. I only used the private pool once.
Amenities are ok, with 2 bottled water, some cookies, tea, coffee and creamer. They also have a laundry service, which I cannot possibly afford if this is a personal vacation.
Staff are nice; their manager Stephen even talked to us personally to check how our stay is going. We met three Filipinos working their so it was really nice experience.
The location, uhm, quite near the beach but not much to see on the neighborhood.
Overall, great stay for a business trip.

We stayed in one of the garden villas with a pool. The room was spacious with 2 big beds. The hot shower and telephone in the room didn't work. The pool is not suitable for children as the depth is more than 1 meter. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet line was fantastic.

Grand Lexis is actually not so grand. Check in was a disaster. They said they're system was down. Had to wait for 30 minutes until I started making noise at the reception to get my key. However our room was pre booked online and prepaid already so what was the problem to prepare the key ? The parking is on the third floor, nobody mentioned you have to drop your bags at the reception because your hotel room is in the garden area. So we had to go up again to get our bags. We asked for a quiet room, yet our room is next to a playground. On top of that so annoying, is that half to windows in the room are darkened and half room is not. Don't get me wrong the room was perfect. Very luxurious with swimming pool, separate bathroom and kitchenette. However the water fountain in the swimming pool could not be turned off, it was like sleeping under a waterfall. we did not feel safe either because there is a big gap at the swimming pool and people can just enter the room. there is even a sign on the door to warn people to keep the door locked. Dinner in the coffee house restaurant was disappointing because my wife's signature fish and chips was raw fish.
Breakfast a nice but very crowdy, many dirty tables nowhere to sit. Bottom line : Great hotel with fantastic facilities and amazing room, but for some staff it's just a job. Many don't care, don't even great,Iwould have expected more from the Lexis group. My compliments to Mages restaurant manager. Best staff we met during our stay. Front office staff need some serious training.

My wife and I found ourselves in central Malaysia for a few days and since we have spent time in Kuala Lumpur we looked for an alternative location to visit. Our quest brought us to Port Dickson and the Grand Lexis Hotel. The hotel is quite unique with most (perhaps all) rooms having their own small, private "splash" pool. While checking in we were welcomed by the Manager on Duty that offered to provide any assistance we may need during our stay. The welcome was followed up the next day by the Manager (Stephen) whom did similarly; offering his assistance. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephen and the General Manager and their kindness. Please consider staying at this hotel should you visit Port Dickson.
