We have been to this place in the early years and I would say the it put an impression that I’d wow incessantly, however it’s a big let down to my recent visit.
For some reasons, people do check in here for the name and the brand it carries. Generally it’s a average stay with great hospitality being offered from the ground staff, front desk.
Hotel rooms requires general maintenance in overall. We stayed in the water chalet and the wooden decks at the main entrance looks like it may rip of apart soon. The air conditioning is poor too. The takeaway would be the sea view, even that not something to shout about as the sea is in murky shaded.
Breakfast in general requires MAJOR overhaul, the arrays of line up can be better. Emphasis be given to local/Asian delicacies and the western corner is merely on pastries and it is a big disappointment knowing the price you’re paying for. Definitely you wouldn’t want the office coffee machine to be at your premium paid hotels, however that’s the reality.
Games room is merely for the children’s I guess, as from the brochure and images we had the impression that wide selection of games being offered however upon our visit, it was a disappointment too.

In overall this place requires major overhaul to be back to its shining days again. What I’ll vouch for is the hotel staffs attitude and behavior to their guests is a real class!
