Stayed there from 17-19 June.
Room was huge and bathroom was clean too.
Bathroom came with both Hot and Cold water.
Outside every room there's a tap for you to wash your feet before entering the room.
3min walking distance to the main beach.
Not much of an issue, just that my 2nd night I found some huge ants crawling on my bed.
Overall not bad for the price paid.

Location wise :it is behind the main resort of the village (paya beach resort)
The walkway towards the place is very unkept n dangerous to be use. Filthy with rubbish and stagnant water. Many monitor lizards around,better watch your step especially at night.
Poorly lit road at night.
The owner is not friendly at all. Dont expect a good welcoming smile.
Rude. We are left to manage on our own. The owner just didnt bother.
Please.dont bother to come.
Rent somewhere else..but not tioman paya.
The beach is filled with rocks.
Not very pleasant snorkelling experience.

Room was included in my diving package, Resort is about 2-300 m walk from Paya pier, blended in the nature, you'll see some monkeys nearby.
Room are very basic but it's big enough to fit 4 person, provide you with air-con, hot shower, electric kettle and hair-dryer. Toilet is a bit small and low water pressure. Quickly get in & out to the room to prevent the mosquito bite.
Don't expect too much, you get what you pay.
Resort was nice because it was surrounded by nature. It's serene and peaceful. After beach activities, the cool clear water from the nearby waterfall was very much welcomed. Food served at the restaurant was nice and the staff were very accommodating and VERY friendly. Superb service!
Went with gf with quite an expectation after some review, but end up with extreme disappointment with paya resort
the resort we get, the aircond is not working, there's no cool air, only fans..we sleep with sweating whole night..
no water provided and the room cleanliness is poor.
pillow smelly and the white comforter in yellowish color.
hot water for showering not working well, need to wait over 10 minutes only can get hot water.
and we tried the chinese restaurant at the receptionist area, the food is awful.
Seafood tom yam, but cant see any seafood, just able to find a tiny winy prawn.
Order also thai style pad kap pao...but turn out no spicy taste at all.
Rice is so wet feel like eating half cook rice.
There's no coverage on this island, I can understand this.
But in the resort, written there's wifi, but end up none of us can access, when ask to the counter, they just answer with rude that : u keep trying, can get if u lucky...
OMG...spoil the mood..
Consider the price, we can get a resort much much much better than this everywhere...
overall the experience is bad and leave with extreme disappointed mood.

Place is good and quite, Room is comfort, but the toilet is little old, alot of frogs at the pool "noisy sometimes", the restaurants there is horrible ! you better eat somewhere else in the island, also have mosquito.
