We had a beach front room which was exactly what it says. The cove is perfectly positioned to maximise the views. There is a small village within an easy walk and a gorgeous waterfall which we had to ourselves for the afternoon. The rooms are really comfortable and clean, meals in general are fine, the bbq is excellent. Will return.

The location for the resort is extremely good and I could give it a six stars if it was possible. The sun shined above the montains behind the resort. The resort has a peer that strecthes out in the sea so you can dive without hitting the bottom of the sea. Near the beach there are a lot of corrals that hurt if you walk on them, because it is very shallow. The water is turqueese and warm, but it will cool you down. There are a lot of fish in the water and you can see beautiful corals if you snorkel (which is highly recommended!). In the evenings, the staff are feeding the fish with the rests of the food from the dinner.
The dinners are mostly including Asian food, but not very spicy. I hope you like fish and barbeque if you are staying at this resort... I have a gluten free disease, and even though I informed the hotel two times before we arrived and when we arrived, the staff had NOT prepared any gluten free bread, and we sometimes had to return the food since they served me food which contained gluten. My brother is allergic to egg, and he also had the same problems with the food. I hope they have learned how to handle visitors with allergic issuses, if not you should push them a little bit.
The rooms are 3-star with a minibar, but no bathtub, wifi or tv. The shower was NOT clean at all; and if you scrub the floor or wall in the shower with a clean towel it will get a red, disgusting layer of mud or what ever it is... The staff should clean the bathrooms after every visitors stay at the resort and they should also hang up a shower-curtain, becaude the whole bathroom would get wet after a shower. The beds are a little bit hard and the bedrooms don't look so new and I found ants in the shelves. But the rooms are air-contitioned. The service is ok and the staff worked as hard as they could. Stayed at beach front-villa.

Our group of 6 adults and 3 kids throughly enjoyed this little jewel south of Tioman Island..

You can tell the family run resort has many personal touches and is a fruit of Tony's(the owner) labour..with only 11 chalets/rooms, it allows the vacationer to enjoy a nice and quiet getaway..no tv, blackberry service, no Internet, just the resort, fresh air, very good food and hospitality to enjoy yourself.

We took the beach villa which had 3 rooms which fit all of us in quite well. The best was it had a verandah overlooking the beach which you can keep an eye on the kids whilst you sipped your tea/cold beer to the sounds of the waves breaking towards the beach..it is also the only room with a direct access to the beach...the kids enjoyed it tremendously..even my 4 year old made the most of it building sand castles...

The villa was very clean and had the tea/coffee making facilities and a fully stocked fridge..

The package includes breakfast which consisted of a choice of banana pancakes/Americann breakfast/eggs and a buffet of fruits, bread, juices, coffee and tea. Lunch is not included in the package and I understand it was quite steep...we took the kiasu approach and brought instant noodles and cookies for lunch to tide us until tea which was served at 1630 which consisted of tea/coffee and some cake/fried sweet potatoes....Dinner was a 3course set starting with soup followed by a main course of either Malay/Chinese/Indian/seafood/BBQ/satay depending on the day you arrive... Desert was sweet local delicacies or fruits..

The house reef did not have much coral left as most of it was dead but there was sufficient marine life to satisfy snorkelers ......we took the additional trip to the marine park but I wouldn't waste time with it.... Just ask to go to Renggis which had loads of stag horn corals and so many different types of parrot fishes and colorful reef fishes..it's also cheaper just to go to Renggis.....

The bar was adequately stocked and it was nice to have a nice beer whilst looking at the sun setting ithe evening...

The walk to the nearest village was quite a walk as it had some small hills and honestly was not worth the effort as the village (45minutes walk) away only had a small grocery shop which had some ice cream and fizzy drinks....the water falls were much further and we didn't venture as the kids were not keen on the walk...the only good thing about the walk was you would pass a few small patches of quiet beaches which had no resorts and perfect for the adventurers couples...

Definitely not for back packers as the price is rather steep by local standards but definitely worth it if you were looking for a small, cozy and quiet retreat with the beach in the front of your room...

The elder 2 learnt to snorkel for the 1st time

Room Tip: If budget is not an issue, choose the beach villa which has 3 rooms and a verandah overlooking the b...

This time we have almost the whole place to ourselves as we went in a group of 30 pax. The owner, Tony, arranged enough boats to transfer us from airport.
Tony was also very accommodating with our sleeping and meals arrangement. He also prepared enough snorkeling gears and had the kayak repaired.
Both nights during night feeding, we witnessed quite a number of sharks. During day time, no sharks.
Weather and water were perfect for snorkeling and sea activities.
We were also offered very special price for the scuba lesson and massage, which we all took advantage of and enjoyed these activities.
The trip to waterfall was also arranged. Some of our group walked there. Salute to the small boy, Chris (less than 10 years old) who walked with them and he was also the first to take up the scuba lesson, despite no other in our group went for the first round.
A special bonfire was lighted for our group as weather was permitting and there were enough people to make it worthwhile.
Thank you Tony and Sue, and all the staff there for making this trip a memorable and great one for all of us. We will definitely be back...again and again.

Room Tip: After 4 trips there, my choice would be Deluxe Sea View. View is beautiful without the waves or acti...

21st/25th June. Beautiful place. A small friendly intimate resort with a fantastic mountain backdrop, private chalets with sea view balconies, lovely natural gardens, a small private beach, great snorkling and diving - with fun and friendly local and european staff. We stayed at the Raisa Ria in KK and the Berjaya Resort on the Island prior to coming here and this was way the best and much better value for money with boat transfer dinner and breakfast included - if you want pampering and spoon feeding then a larger chain resort may suit you more. This is a good combination ....... but then you are never going to please everyone! We were sorry to leave and wished we had stayed longer. It was perfect for our 4 day stay and to Charlie Katerina and Laura - thanks a lot guys.
