I hate whinging but really wished I hadn’t dismissed other negative reviews when booking.

This hotel has such amazing potential being located on a beautiful beach. However we found very little to enjoy during our stay.

If the hotel had been a reasonable price we could have overlooked the following issues, however it is advertised as a more luxurious option and it is most definitely not.

1. The bathroom was very grim, not very clean and super gloomy

2.The rooms are incredibly dated and dingy with one small window

3. Everything was a bit shoddy, sloppy painting, curtain poles falling apart, doors missing off of furniture

4. The hot water is run off of solar power so when we had two days of rain it made cleaning a rather unpleasant experience

5. The air conditioning unit was incredibly noisy and repeatedly switched itself off and on during the night

I was so excited about visiting the island as I have wanted to go here for a while.How can I explain my disappointment? A resort is about the atmosphere and how welcome you feel, the staff are nice enough but they do not go above and beyond. The beach is absolutely stunning and is why most people visit, I Guess. This is the first time I have visited a resort and wanted to leave.

As many people mention in their reviews the food is very average and there is lots of western deep fried generic food. We went across the way every night to get our meals. They had more vegetarian variety, food was fresher and they had fresh fruit juice( not out of a bottle).

This resort just felt so unloved and tired as even food menus are sticky and falling apart, pavements broken, so what message does that send? So many plastic bottles and straws were wasted and you definitely cannot drink the water so you are left with no other choice. The resort should be more Eco conscious and provide water so guests can refill their own bottles. The rooms were cleaned ( but very dusty) and a plastic bag of toiletries was dumped in our room every day ( a do it yourself job) I have never experienced anything like it. There is no need to leave toiletries if they have not been used.

Finally the flies! There were flies everywhere attracted to the buffet food( not covered) and sticky tables. The food really needs to be covered and an effort needs to be made about the flies. No alcohol or wifi but You can get over that, you are on an island after all.

The diving was amazing, I only have good things to say about the diving staff. Transfers from airport to island and email communication were also excellent. I know the resort has improved bathrooms etc in rooms but they need to start with the food and making guests feel welcome. Such a shame and lots of potential to be amazing.

The beds were awfull to sleep in and the room was not cleaned in two days. The restaurant was not good, but coral View with 2 minutes walking had excellent food. The whole resort need a total renovation. Will not recommend to stay in this expensive hotel.

it is the best hotel and best beach on the island (it does not provide good quality wifi, but you are on vacation!).
Rooms are clean and the food at the restaurant is really good, do not even bother trying to go to the nearby ones!
I suggest you do the morning snorkeling trip (2 hours), and if you like scuba diving, the instructor is really nice, and the price is cheap for a dive!

We spent 2 nights at the resort. We had a sea facing room with a terrace. The rooms are pretty standard, no TV. The breakfast was standard as well as other meals. They have a gift shop which is also like a mini convenience store. Unfortunately the pool was closed during this time. They offer many activities. The beach was the highlight, crystal clear waters and soft white sand. The staff were friendly and helpful, they helped us book the boat transfers as well as a land transfer to the airport. I enjoyed my stay here.
