We got rides in and out of the desert by camels. The camp was beautiful with bathroom and comfy beds. The Berber guides spoke English and were very helpful! They brought us to see the stars at late night. A memory of a lifetime.

I and my friends stayed one night here. The camel guy was nice and willing to take pictures for us. The camp is luxury, the bed is very comfortable and warm, I had a very good sleep!!! Their people are nice and even offer to take us to the place that we can watch stars. That’s a great experience that I would recommend everyone who wants to join the dessert tour.

I recently completed a two week trip to Morocco with a friend, and our time with the Luxury Desert Camp was the highlight of the trip. We had a private vehicle with Abou, our driver/guide, and drove from Fes to the campsite (about an 8 hour trip). It was an incredible drive, with great views of the Atlas mountains. Abdou was very kind and considerate of our needs and made sure we stopped for bathroom breaks, meals etc.

The camp itself is breathtaking. The photos can't do it justice - the tents have attached bathrooms with hot water and showers, the guides provide meals and it's a great few days just lounging in the desert. We did a dromedary ride that lasted about 3 hours, and it was also amazing. In the daytime we could also go sandboarding (no cost) or drive to town and ride ATVs in the desert (we chose not to do this).

Everyone talks about the beauty of the desert night sky, and it was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip. We all saw the Milky Way with the naked eye, and more stars than any of us had ever seen.

It's the desert, so things get hot in the daytime and quite cold at night. I would suggest packing a set of thermal underwear and a coat if you're going to venture out to catch the stars.

I really can't say enough about the staff, from Abdou and Hussein to the many others (whose names I've sadly forgotten or don't know how to spell). This is a great company, and an experience that you will not regret.

Abdul was our driver, he was the best on the difficult roads through the Atlas mountains and took us to several interesting places along the way, which was a godsend because the villages and kasbahs are fascinating and the drive to the Sahara is long. He showed us where to buy things cheaper in the mountains where they are made, than is possible in Marrakesh.
The riad along the way was first class, with a cool pool.
The desert tents are a canvas hotel room, clean and fresh, separate sit-down flush toilet, etc.., nothing to worry about.

Room Tip: best rooms overlook the pool
