We traveled in a group of five friends and found clean rooms with air conditioning. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok and included some fresh fruit. All in all good value for money and good of you just stay for a night in Braila.

Well, despite its cleanliness and friendly staff. I can say that the walls are extremely thin, I stayed in room 111 and I could hear all along the road traffic, AC machine rumbling and how my neighbors kept coughing and talking. Right now, I'm in room 102, it's a little less noise from traffic, but the wall are papers like. The water has high pressure and the noise it makes is just painful.
But there aren't many hotels in the nearby and this one is fairly decent. If you don't have an issues waking at 6 am when your neighbor is showering or other..
Parking available on site or nearby. They even have a restaurant, but the entry was under construction (temporary problem/they are finishing it) i couldn't find the entry (breakfast was included in the price). Low prices... good rooms, only problem - noise!

Room Tip: upper floors, far away from the street

Braila is my home town I left some years ago and no relative remained there. I've travelled to Braila on business purposes and stayed in this hotel. Although new, the place looks and functions as an old communist establishment, with old style, deteriorated furniture. The bed seemed ok to me while sleeping. The bathroom is extremely small and the towels were not quite white... One big minus would be allowing smoking in the room which generates a deeper communist atmosphere beside the garnishing style.
Breakfast is another unpleasant surprise for the guests as it is ordered a la carte and the variety of options is very, very limited. The service in the restaurant was terrible, the two waiters seemed not to like our presence in there, not to mention taking our order and serving us. Again, smoking is allowed in the restaurant in breakfast, which makes you feel like eating toast with butter and honey in a railway station, among the train drivers.
This one I call a sad experience.

Room Tip: All the rooms are rented for no more than one night, so you can choose.

Not central, but cheap (half the price for a similar hotel in the very center). Not so many restaurants and pub's around. Rooms ok, but they don't clean the rooms every day (not even the bathroom). Few parking places in front of the building (about 4 or 5). The area is very dusty due to road workings. To walk to the very center is about 20-30 minutes. Breakfast is included and you can choose from the menu from about 15 RON (aprox 3 EUR), so not so much.
