Nice old bridge next to a pebble beach along the Moraca River (beach only there is dry season). Huge negatives - seedy individuals congregate in the area and the place is a haven for rubbish. Has potential a city that lack tourist potential. I didn't notice the graffiti that others have but in 39oC, it gave me all to remain upright!

In the central part of Podgorica, the Ribnica Bridge is a beautiful secluded spot where it is easy to forget that you are in the city. The bridge is a bit removed from the main road and you need to walk down a small path to get to it. The path itself isn't that nice and could benefit from trash pick up but once you get to the bridge it is easy to see why people come here.

The bridge and the river flowing under it leads in to the main river that flows through the city. On a hot day is a good place to dip your feet in the cold water (with sandals on though! There is some glass in the sand around that area). I would definitely recommend it as a sight to see in the city during anyone's stay.

We went here on our way to the old city and didn't expect to see this amazing place.
If I would recommend people to go to one aingle place when in Podgorica, this is it.
Beautiful!!!

This is the kind of 'attraction' which will have you thinking you should have headed straight to the coast and forgotten about Podgorica.

The bridge is a rather simple affair but it could have been pretty enough. Unfortunately, it is covered in graffiti and the surrounding area was liberally decked with plastic waste of all descriptions. Not a rewarding place to visit.

If you like garbage and senseless graffiti, then Podgorica is the town for you. What a shame to see the historic stone bridge over the river Ribnica surrounded by used tires, plastic bottles, and smashed cans of lager. It's probably the one reasonably scenic site inside the city and it's covered with spray paint. I feel the people of this city just don't care enough to keep the place clean as it is a recurring theme to see political statements, support for sport teams, and random profanity adorning many surfaces around the city. I tried so hard to like this town and its one reasonable site but it's just not possible.
