This is a charming, typically Ottoman bridge and one of the few old historic monuments in mostly modern Podgorica. It is where the small stream Ribnica flows into theMoraca, the big river in town. It is part of a waterside park which includes nice trees, a beach on the cold river, where youths and others like to hang out, and the small Skaline fort ruins, with paths leading to the Parliament building and through the small old town. It is right across the river from the Hotel Podgorica and conveniently located in the heart of the city. It is easy to see on a short walk through the area, with the King Nikola statue and more. I would say it is one of the best historic landmarks in the city, the adjacent fort is simple and minimal and mostly valuable for some nice views of the river.
