35000w double room entry level. Not super slick or new in style but totally reasonable for a short stay in the nicest area of Gwangju, close to downtown but the quiet, southern end so no party noises. We checked in at 11am when many other motels around the area were shut or unstaffed. Reception spoke English. Huge TV, fridge, water cooler (hot and cold), table and chairs, big desk. All the usual toiletries, toothbrushes, plentiful towels. Water took a while to get hot but understandable given we were on the 5th floor. Room didn't really match the picture at reception (ie no rug on floor) but that's usually the case with love hotels! Good for couples on a budget.

Everyone recommended us this place. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are great, some have a sauna in the shower and a Jacuzzi. It is quiet and it is a 2 minute walk to the city center, subway and buses every where. But the rooms were shabby, dirty and not appealing at all! The mattresses were so bad that we could not feel our backs any more. The reception does not speak one word of English and they are not friendly! We asked for a sheet, they did not want to give it, so we had to sleep directly under the blankets. We were moved to another room, which was even bigger, but the problems with the mattresses were the same and the room was crawling with cockroaches. We checked out and found a much much better deal in the Seo-Gu area! for the same price we had a beautiful, clean room with a friendly reception and great beds and very quiet.

Room Tip: Room 703 has a cockroach problem, but a great bathroom. All the rooms are quiet. Room 702 and 703 have horrible mattresses which are so old that you can feel every spring. My suggestion is to find another Motel. It is too expensive and dirty. But the location is great

My friends and I stay here when we go to Gwangju. It's close to where we go out at night, it's clean, it's not super smoky, and the rate is great.

My wife and I have stayed at the Windmill 3 times now, and in general it is a good place. Just outside of the Dong-Gu Shopping area/Migliore, the location is wonderful. The rooms themselves are usually clean and clear of smoke smell. The one time we upgraded to a deluxe room, it was well worth the money, as the decor and furnishings were very much improved, and for only about $4 more than the basic PC room.
