The zip line in Isla Bastimentos is an awesome experience. It is at thirteen segments of zip line or ropes course. Scary and high.

The resort on Bastimentos is beautiful. You suit up in the lobby and get on a truck that takes you to the zip line. On the way, you see beautiful views of the ocean and the rainforest. We even saw a sloth hanging from a tree on the way back. The truck ride is very bumpy though but it is fun. You enter the jungle and shown how to brake and what the motions they give you mean when you need to slow down or speed up. The zip line is gorgeous. It is quite high but you get a beautiful view of the trees. You can get stuck though if you brake too soon and have to pull yourself in. The zip line features treetop ropes courses and rappelling. Overall, it is very fun and a great way to get a beautiful view of the rainforest canopy.
We've ziplined numerous times and this was the best experience we've had. Staying at Red Frog Beach Resort made it super easy as you walk down to reception to get all the gear. The guides, Carlos and Wilfred were funny, easy going and very patient. We had a large group and they made sure to make every person was singled out at one point to do something "silly" but all very safe. It's a long tour so you get your monies worth. ENJOY!!!!
These zip lines through the highest ends of the jungle were a lot of fun! Our guides were very helpful and great with the two younger teenage kids. Our only complaint was that the price for the ride included only a 1-way ticket to the island. You were forced into hiring a water taxi ($7/each) for the ride back to Bocas Town. KInd of a rip-off..
The ziplines were very high from the ground, which made it amazing to glide through the trees. Don't wear white pants because the ziplining gear left some marks on my pants (but I'm sure it can be washed off). The instructors are very knowledgeable and fun, and they give you a safety speech before you start the course. They also clip you to the tree while you're waiting for your turn on the ziplines so it's very safe. Entire family loved it. Totally worth the money!
