Nothing could be more relaxing than to take a stroll or laze around in this garden at any time of the day, except of course summer afternoon, there is a fragrance of flowers in the air, there were tulips too, easy approach from shankar road or north Avenue, parking available free, go for a change

This is a garden which is far better if you go in the evening. There are many fountains which display beautiful water in the bright light shows. Excellent place for walkers and picnic goers. You will love to go there and relax.

This beautiful garden is located right at the heart of the city. There are lot of fountains which are a delight to watch after sunset. The park closes at 8pm in the evening so make sure you reach before that, I am regular visitor of this park and have always found it refreshing with regular updation of flowers according to the seasons. Recently I was surprised to find exotic tulips grown there. Easiest way is take a cab from shivaji metro station or central secretariate metro station .

During Autumn months particularly Kartik month, which is a holy month for Hindus, picnics are usually organised by certain Associations when they visit gardens and parks to enjoy community lunch under the the trees. For this purpose the Talkatora gardens in the heart of the city is the right place
.Trees are worshipped at the start of the day. There are thick and very big trees spreading their branches like an umbrella thereby giving shade to people. The public can play games ,have refreshments, enjoy Housie or play cards. There are taps and rest-room facilities. So if a person wants to chill out this is THE place.

Another surprise is a adjoining jungle where adventuring people can go for a walk. However never go alone in that adjoining jungle since its very dense and totally desolated. Vast expanse of greenery gives tranquility to the mind and also kids like this vastness t run around and play.
