I had stayed previously in the heritage part of this hotel, this time stayed in the main part. Room was good and tidy, comfy bed and clean bathroom. The down part was the poor service, and even after repeated reminders and requests that did not improve. the manager is a very inefficient person in guest handling. The service boy "Naren" kept asking for tips without giving any simple service.

This Property is one of the best budget property in Darjeeling. Wonderful cozy rooms, courteous staff members and an in house souvenir shop, really add value to your travel. I stayed in suite room which has got an ethnic theme. Loved cheese momo in its in house restaurent.

Room Tip: If you are there during winter ask for wooden rooms. They are cozy and warm. But these rooms are located in upper floor.

I stayed there long time ago with my friends. Very reasonable considering pretty descent sized rooms and good food. Their suit is on the top floor with a unhindered view of the mountains. Location is 10 minutes climb up to the mall road.

I've been here with my friends in june , hotel people are very courteous and are ready to help at any given point of time, beautiful tibeten decoration in rooms, the best thing about hotel is there food, they have class taste and we booked the hotel on MAP plan and guess what a lovely dialogue took our heart, (sir jitna khana h kha lijiye baki chord dijiye) just like our mom say to us at our home, will definitely recommend this hotel , the only bad thing is WiFi, I expect WiFi but even restaurant have the bad WiFi ..it should b there.

We stayed at Hotel Seven Seventeen for 6 nights before and after our trek. The rooms are basic but comfortable as half of the rooms offer a fantastic view over Darjeeling and the surrounding mountains.

The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is very good as we ate dinner there on a few occasions as the quality and choice is as good as mainly of the nearby restaurants. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, and the owners especially went out of there way to ensure all guests were comfortable and happy. The rooms were a little loud at times due to thin walls but we still slept well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view!
