We were from out of town and were told about this place. It's a very plain no frills square box of a place where you line up and place your order. Our cashier had no appetite, no pun intended, for small talk. Just place your order, and get out of the way for the next guy. Slide over to the drink machine and fill your foam cup. Your sandwich is brought to you in a little plastic basket with--mine was the one quarter muffaletta with chips (didn't care for those). The sandwich was OK. We each paid 10 bucks, a little pricey for a place like this. The restroom is all the way back and around a corner...clean enough I guess but not very nice.
From our point of view it didn't live up to its reputation...there are much nicer lunch places in Fairhope.
