Wouldn't say this is the best hotel in terms of service and cleanliness but the location is really great if you are going over the weekends to enjoy the night market at Jonker Street.

ROOMS - Booked the Quad room. Cleanliness was not the best but acceptable. Air conditioning was superb and it cooled the room really quickly. Read some reviews about smell coming out from the toilet piping etc but it was generally fine for me. Experienced it once for a short 1 hour and the smell was gone. Television channels were extremely fuzzy but didn't really bother me as i didn't really watch it. Free Wifi in room.

BREAKFAST - Again, not the best. Small variety. Better off grabbing something light and heading out for a heartier breakfast. Some of the recommended food like Poh Piah Lwee and Jonker88 are 5min walk away from the hotel.

LOCATION - 3 min walk to the happening Jonker Street / Night Market. 15min walk to the clock tower/ famous red building. 15min drive from Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal and would only cost u 7RM if you take a GrabCar. However, if you are looking to stay near shopping centres, it is best to stay on the other side near Hatten Square.

This hotel is different from your regular new and pristine hotel. If you like the rustic, peranakan look that have a tinge of Malacca culture, this is the place for you.

I love the hotel! It is like a gallery which portray the "Malacca". The place, although it is Vintage in age, looks clean and well maintained. It is worth the money you pay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect! It is located in Jonker Street, where at night, street market are placed. The tourist spot/place is also just around the corner. It is near the stall who sell a chicken rice ball (you can try that as it is famous in Malacca (Melaka), walk further street for other scenery. I recommend this place.

Room Tip: Second floor is just nice. There is glass lift (i upload the photo) but in case you are in the other...

Very nice with good location for walking around. Sid's at the end of the street overlooks the water and has some good appetizers. I didn't use the spa but two of our group did and they loved their treatment. Lots of common areas, well maintained. Quite nice rooms. Totally adequate, not luxurious. Breakfast buffet was fine. Solid selection, nothing exciting.

Great stay within the prime location of Jonker Street. Value for money and certainly worth it. I am particularly like to sit around the courtyard both the lobby and at the back of the main area. It gives me a good sense of touch with historical artifacts and amazing ambiance.

Furthermore, the breakfast is good!

If not for anything else, the location deserves marks! Right in the heart of China town, if one happen to be in Melaka on weekend as we did, then you can't ask any better place for Jonkar walk.

Good heritage Nyonya building and an excellent breakfast with ample choice. Room we stayed was Ok. Over all a very good base for visiting sights of Melaka. Try to visit Melaka on weekends as Jonkar walk is a must visit item
