We were able to get last minute.com free tickets on a cold Sunday afternoon. Tickets are free but they want to time people's entrance because of Covid. There are several well done videos plus quite a few written displays about slavery and various happenings in Montgomery. We spent about 1 hour, but you could spend more time if you read and watch everything.

The evidence is thoroughly presented and you must form your own opinion. This is a trail and you see and experience the physical testimony. I found Robert Hinton’s testimony so moving, I shed tears. What would you do?
This is really a difficult experience and even though there were children, I recommend waiting until children are tween age (10+) because it is traumatic...at least go first alone so you are prepared to address the experience.
No photography is allowed inside. Bug your tickets in advance at Equal Justice Initiative’s website. Can buy combined ticket for Legacy and Peace and Justice.
Exceptionally well presented. Most focus on Alabama but that is because there is sufficient evidence.

This museum was painful to visit but absolutely required visit for all Americans. Very well-researched and engaging displays. Absolutely recommend.
