Surin of Thailand advertises itself as an "authentic" Thai restaurant, and my dining experiences there are basically consistent with that claim based upon my experiences of Thai cuisine in Thailand. One of my favorite entrees is their Shrimp Panang; it always is excellent. Sushi is a specialty at Surin, and it never fails to please. Surin's chefs also include what I would describe as "fusion" cuisine on the menu, and those offerings also are very good. The ambiance is a bit too cold for my taste, especially if the restaurant is not crowded. Although the wait staff are pleasant, I seldom feel really welcomed into the restaurant. On the other hand, the wait staff is attentive, and drinks and appetizers are quickly served.
