Great spot for quiet remote getaway.
Scuba diving was good, with personalized guides.
Meals, rooms and entertainment first class.
Highly recommend seaplane trip from Nadi.
Ladder on dive boat was a bit of a problem, l imagine it has been fixed.

Hi Terry,

Thanks for taking the time out to write a review after returning home. It means a lot to us and also helps other travellers as well.

It was great to get the chance to scuba dive with you and I'm glad you enjoyed the personalised service that we provide on the dives. It's also great to hear you enjoyed the accommodation, meals and entertainment that we provide at the resort. We try to give you many varied different options with the entertainment while at the same time taking time to relax and do nothing if that is what you prefer.

We hope you get the chance to come back and see us here at Viwa Island Resort and we would love to take you out diving again as well.

Vinaka and all the best for 2018.

Roy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Viwa Island Resort. The location is superb and the resort is excellent. The facilities are first class and the management and staff made our visit truly memorable, from the greeting as we landed on the beach to the final, emotional farewell six days later.
The small number of guests and the warm welcome from the resort personnel gave the holiday a family atmosphere at meals and happy hour. There are plenty of options to do as much, or as little, as one likes. Whilst the resort has a relaxed Fijian atmosphere the standard of facilities and professionalism of the management and staff is of the highest standard.
A big thanks to Roy, Louise, Sheung, Akilia, Vata, Ronny and all the staff and I have no hesitation in adding another 5 Star review for this great resort.

Bula John and Hilary,

Thanks for taking time to write a review on Viwa Island resort. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you got the time to partake in activities as well as taking the time to relax as well. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful location along with amazing staff.

It was also great to get the chance to go diving with you and also show you the solar grid and water catchment infrastructure we have put in place to make the resort as eco friendly as we can.

Hopefully you will get the chance to come back and visit us sometime in the future but until then :-)

Vinaka.

Many thanks to the owners Roy, Louise, and Sheung for making our stay an extremely pleasant experience.

All facilities and staff were absolutely fantastic - But be warned -Get into a drinking session with Roy at your own peril - and you still owe me a farewell man hug you bloody Scotsman.

We really enjoyed all the activities especially the fishing. Loved all the food especially how Chef Marle cooked up our catch.

We really enjoyed the staff singing and the band that played at night. They were truly amazing and talented.

Christmas Day was made a memorable time for us with the Village children coming in to sing and dance for us. We also appreciated the efforts made for the Turkey and Ham option for Christmas dinner.

We could not believe how quiet and tranquil this resort was. You could choose to be involved or uninvolved as you wished.

We can not recommend this resort highly enough.

Nick & Belinda

Room Tip: All bures are on the beach

Bula Nick and Belinda,

Thanks for taking the time to write a lovely review of Viwa Island Resort.

It was great meeting you both and it was a pleasure to host you both over the festive period. Especially being able to cater for you and your preference for turkey and ham on Christmas day :-)

You certainly are a dangerous man Nick thus I had to hide on many an occasion :-)

It's fantastic that you had the opportunity to partake in many of the resorts facilities as well as enjoy the Christmas show put on by the local village children.

We look forward to you coming back to visit us at your 2nd home here at Viwa in the not too distant future.

Vinaka.

We spent 6 days in Viwa for our honeymoon and had an amazing week. Very nice and clean bures, amazing nearly private beach, good food, great activities (kayak, snorkeling, massages, kava ceremony...) and excellent staff!

I also passed my padi advanced diving licence. The diving spots are amazing. Splendid coral reefs. Lots of fish, reef sharks and turtles. We even saw a leatherback turtle!

We totally recommend to go to Viwa!

Bula Christophe,

Thank you very much for taking the time when you got home to write a lovely review on Viwa Island Resort. We are so glad that you and Julie had the opportunity to celebrate your honeymoon here at Viwa. Our staff are our most valuable asset and they really appreciate to hear feedback like this that we pass onto them. It was also great to see you both taking part in many of the activities that the resort has to offer.

It was also my pleasure to take you through the Advanced Open Water PADI certification and then have time to do some fun dives on top of that as well with you and Julie.

We wish you both well for the rest of 2018 and although you live far away it would be great to see you back at Viwa sometime in the future.

Vinaka.

Island beautiful..staff, excellent and attentive..Food, unbelievably expensive, understand logistics of locality but not prices, being, 5* pricing for 2* quality, very hit and miss for the price..price per day only includes breakfast.
Bure's are comfortable, not luxurious as per pricing, needing an update. Each bure has there own 2 lounges facing the beach with umbrella which is lovely, beach is gorgeous as are the staff, very attentive.
Careful of the shock on checkout with extra fiji taxes, as in environmental, vat, hospitality, card as no cash accepted and nowhere advertised.
Lovely Island but will not be going back to Fiji as since it has become a republic it's routing the tourist.

Bula Gail,

Thanks for taking the time to write a review on Viwa Island Resort. I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with the quality of the food. You will see from our reviews that there are many positive sets of feedback on the quality and freshness of the food and as you highlighted it is quite a logistical challenge to deliver this. All of our accommodation, food and beverage prices are inclusive of the government taxes and this is stated on all the menus. We show these government taxes as separate lines on your bill for check out to be completely transparent on all the costs. We do accept cash as well as credit cards and any surcharge on the credit card is from the bank if it is an overseas credit card that is normal practise across the world.

I am sorry to hear that you will not return to Fiji as there are so many beautiful attributes to this lovely country and lovely people.

Vinaka.

Roy.
