Spent a very nice two nights here on business. It's a very large 50+ floor hotel. I had a room on the 18th floor with views across Shanghai. The room was large with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom with both bath and separate shower. Wifi was strong and there were other nice touches like an ipad dock. Air conditioning was pretty weak however and it struggled to cool the room down even though the outside temperature was mild.
The breakfast was fantastic. A huge buffet with a selection of Western and Chinese foods. Everything I had was good quality.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Dapuqiai metro station so it's well connected to the city. There's a great range of cafes, bars and restaurants above the station.
On the other side of the station, just off Taikang Road, is a set of narrow street full of independent shops, bars and snack places. It's a great way to get away from the noise and scale of Shanghai and relax. Highly recommended.
