Not much positive to write here. You can see daylight through the walls in places. Puddles form after heavy rain. Has great potential as it is a very nice set up but is poorly ran. The pool is pleasant and provided a nice communal area to gather. Damage charges for a stained towel asked from another traveller seemed excessive so would advise not to cause any damage.

Nice hotel situated about 1km outside the town which only takes about 10-15 minutes to walk. The accommodation is in the form of separate Cabin/chalets spread out throughout the grounds. My room was very spacious with two beds and a good sized bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable and nice and quiet too. There’s a decent swimming pool area and view of the volcano. WiFi only worked at the reception area unfortunately.

It is a quiet place 1 km from the center you can enjoy an excellent view of the sand volcano, see different animals and flowers, you can enjoy the pool, the staff is very attentive

I will be back !!!!

Room Tip: I prefer superior room or junior suite with volcano view

Visited for 2 nights as part of a gadventures tour. Cabins are nice and well appointed. As they are cabins, soundproofing isn't great and wifi is only available in the main area but these are inherent to the place. There is a reasonable looking pool and good views of the Arenal Volcano. Grounds could do with a spruce though. Town is a safe, 15min walk but take a torch if going at night.

Stayed 2 nights. Bed was comfy, air conditioner was awesome, and enjoyed having an attached bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful. Really enjoyed walking the garden and looking at all of the tropical plants and animals. While sitting on the cabin porch, we were able to enjoy listening to the birds and a gorgeous view of the volcano. For the Wifi to work, we needed to be in the dining/reception area.
