Very very basic offerings for $30. Fan, cold water and in need of care is the best way to describe our room at Coco Azul. It's a bit out of town which means it's a bit quieter and close to the beach. Wifi is pretty good when it works.
In the end it's Costa Rica so it's more expensive but still, to pay that much was a bit of a joke.
This was a very inexpensive hotel. We were on a budget when we visited Playa del Coco in Costa Rica. More or less clean. Quit old. I would recommended finding somethng else. Staff was more of less ok.
The room is nice and clean. It is located near the beach and close to the main street. The owner is very nice and friendly. We wanted to stay a night less then we booked due to a change of plans and it was no problem at all.
Super helpful and friendly staff, also really great atmosphere with some adorable animals on the property! Very close to the beach and central street, 2-5 minute walk from everything you need. Room was really nice, and clean! Had access to a kitchen which was helpful when youre on a budget!
I stayed at Cabinas Coco Azul in Playas del Coco for 11 days while traveling through Costa Rica, and I would highly recommend staying there if you are in the area, the hospitality was above perfection the prices were very fair, and the location was by far the best location, it was very close to the beach and all the downtown locations. The rooms were clean and well kept up and Steve and Alberto were the best of hostesses. I will definitely be back.........
