Condovac Resort in Guanacoste, Costa Rica- stay away

We were very excited for our 1st trip to Costa Rica. We ended up at Condovac through a Hilton Grand Vacation/ RCI exchange. It was rated "Gold Crown" on the Hilton/RCI site. It definitely was not up to Hilton standards. The rooms were very old, in terrible condition and in desperate need of repairs. The dresser drawers didn't close, you needed to wear water shoes in the shower and the overall condition of the room was terrible. The pool area had about 25 lounges for a place that they said was full. People had no where to sit and it was a disaster. The staff was very nice and friendly but I would not stay here. There are many beautiful On the other hand, Tony Picado and his brother Randall who handle the trips and transportation were amazing!

Room tip: Try to get a redone room. The views of sunset are magnificant.

Great way to enjoy Costa Rica!

We had a great time and the pools were amazing! Friendly staff and good service!
Booked 2 tours w/Randald Picado(The Tour Guy): Harold (CR Unique- guide)=full of info & made our CR experience amazing!

We had an amazing time at the Condovac. First I want to say what an amazing job to Unique tours did. Thank you Tony , Randall and Jr. For setting up our excursions. They went above and beyond my expectations. In fact I had texted Tony to confirm the time and pickup. Now keep in mind this was after he had gone home. Not only did he get back to me, but he confirmed not only this one but he did it for all our excursions. As for the resort I could not get over the amazing views. As well as a great staff. Like Carlos Fernanda and the best bartender Louis. I highly recommend the Condovac

Bad bad bad

Know Condovac for many years, never too good but this time… the worst experience! No hot water nobiidyy takes care, they dont let you choose your room, the music in the pool terrible and loud! No two plates the sane, cutlery terrible, towels old and worn. The desk front people terrible!! Dont waste money here, Guanacaste has a lot else to offer!

Oh the view!

What a great view, the best in the area by far. The staff was wonderful and very helpful at every step. Randald of CRUnique tours was on site and always available, he even helped us get our excursion photos on his day off. And don’t forget to tip the bartenders, they have some serious hustle!
