Hotel Arco Iris is an island of tranquility in the busy beach town of Tamarindo. The staff is top notch and the prices are very reasonable. We stayed with our family of 8 (two parents and six kids, ages 30, 28, 26, 21, 17 and 16) The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The housekeeping staff was terrific. Our rooms were immaculate every day that we returned from the Beach. The wi-fi was good enough for us to cast Netflix on the large flat screen TV. The highlight of the stay was the chill vibe centered around the lobby/pool/ dining area. Surrounded by high walls and palm trees the area is super quiet and relaxing. The pool is large enough for a very nice dip (but not for lap swimming). The owner, Richard, is on site every day and makes sure each guest has a terrific time. Breakfast is included and it is awesome. Costa Rican breakfast, omelets, pancakes, avocado toast and excellent coffee. They also have a laundry service that is quite inexpensive. Overall, it was a terrific hotel and a great bargain

Quaint boutique hotel located off the main road and away from the hectic main town, but just a short walk away. The room was very clean, quiet, and private. The staff were also very friendly. Delicious breakfast included! Would definitely stay here again.

I would like to thank and highly recommend Hotel Arco Iris in Tamarindo Costa Rico. The owner Richard, Staff (Steve & Lara) and others are very friendly and helpful. The grounds, the pool, the rooms, and the breakfast were all amazing. I will miss my morning coffee balcony and view. It is located only a short walk from the beach. Yes, people actually walk in that town.
I met a couple who are from Snowmass CO., a couple who lives in Ohio and his wife has lived in Knoxville (my hometown), and many other nice people there. I am so glad that I did not choose a ”Chain” hotel.
