The location of this place is primary as this area is limited and there is not much more after you pass Puerto Jimenez.

Over all the place is nice and their food is amazing unlike another reviews you see where people criticize the food I found it nice and real Costa Rican authentic .

My only problem was the mattress I had a terrible one and a flat pillow that resembled and sliver of meat in a little fabric flower cover, I really think they need to step up their beds and sheets but other then this the place , the people, the area, and the guy in the tour office where all of great help and super available 100% to any need we may have.

The food we had there was of really bad quality. Even something really simple like a salad had no taste.. The tropical chicken was not to eat and we had to leave it on the table frightend to stay the night at the toilet if we had eaten up.

We stayed here just a single night before we went on our excursion through Osa Corcovado Trekking. We chose a $30 room with A/C which worked out great - pretty much this was just a place to rest our heads which is exactly what we got. The room was clean although the shower left a little to be desired. Unfortunately it was karoake night at the bar across the street so was pretty loud for quite awhile however I think we both tuned it out from exhaustion and drifted off anyway. There is a cute little deck that you can sit on while drinking your morning coffee or nightly toddy that overlooks the main street - we were up too early to take advantage of it but if we were there longer I think it would have been a great spot to sit and rest for a bit. Carolina's restaurant is right next door and the food there is wonderful - highly recommend checking it out. Overall this hotel was in a great location for what we needed and the price couldn't have been beat. Would recommend if you're looking for little time in a hotel.

It was so hot that I was glad for the air conditioner to escape the heat. Even though it is located next to the cafe it was quiet. I also had a tv. The room was cleaned daily and breakfast available at the cafe. The staff were all really lovely and welcoming. The room is large and cell like. It is a cheap place to sleep with air conditioning and very centrally located

Carolinas was a convenient stopping point the night before and the night after our Corcovado Trek with Osa Corocvado Trekking ( office is next door to Carolinas).
The airconditioning was most welcome. The curtains on the window are quite see thru and allow a lot of light into the room. The shower looked like it could do with a good scrub and leaked through out the night. Adequate but nothing special
