Booked the " best room in the house" for 4 nights, received a confirmation email directly from the owner. When we arrived, no rooms available at all including ours. We showed the confirmation email to the owner John.
Long story what happened next....Ann ultimately helped us find a room....20 minutes out of town, rough road, no kitchen. They did pay the difference, but....the owner never apologized...not even once!! including follow up emails and never offered any compensation...we asked for some free nights at a future date...nothing...basically just the finger. Do not patronize this person.
Also note that unlike any other hotel we have used, his prices are cash only....they will add 6% if you use a credit card.
We don't write complaints as we're very forgiving....mistakes get made. But this fellow was horrible and rude in how he handled the situation.
Zero out of 10. Pick a different place.
